Join Aetna, a CVS Health Company's Actuarial Corporate Fall Internship Program, a flexible, paid internship designed to provide students with meaningful actuarial experience while balancing academic commitments. The Actuarial Fall Internship Program provides interns with exposure to key actuarial functions while allowing them to contribute to projects that support business objectives, professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

This program also serves as an opportunity for students to explore future internship and full-time career opportunities within CVS Health. The Fall 2026 program will run October 2026 through December 31st 2026 (Dates subject to change). Internships may be extended through March 2027 based on business needs, intern performance, and student availability.

Location:This is a virtual opportunity. Though, interns are encouraged, but not required, to work from the Hartford, CT office when schedules permit and may have opportunities to attend in-person networking and development events.

Compensation: $26.50/hour

Work Schedule: Flexible hours based on business needs and the student's class schedule.

Sponsorship: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs

Our actuaries leverage strong analytical skills, business knowledge, financial acumen and effective leadership behaviors to support the team in activities related to pricing, reserving, forecasting, data analytics, competitive intelligence, healthcare trend analytics and tracking business results.

Required Qualifications

  • Meet educational requirements (see education section)
  • Have a willingness to relocate if needed
  • Have an interest in pursuing an Actuarial career

Education

  • Be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Have an anticipated graduation date between May 2027 and August 2029
  • Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position.
  • Examples include: Actuarial Science, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or other related degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:


$26.00 - $31.00
