Rhino Medical is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to support a high-acuity inpatient service at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This assignment involves coverage of hospitalist services with a focus on inpatient care, teaching, and mentoring, supporting a team with dedicated nocturnists and a closed ICU.

This opportunity offers a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts within a structured 7 on/7 off schedule, providing consistent coverage and clinical variety. Providers will utilize Meditech EMR in a collaborative hospital environment.

Practice Environment

Coverage & Schedule Details

• 12-hour shifts within a 7 on/7 off schedule
• Shifts include days, nights, and weekends
• Must work 7 consecutive shifts, ideally 2 weeks per month
• 16-20 patient visits per day per provider
• EMR: Meditech

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospitalist services with a closed ICU
• Responsible for assessment, stabilization, and disposition of hospital patients
• Teaching and mentoring residents or students
• Documentation within Meditech EMR
• Coordinate with consulting services and inpatient teams

Candidate Requirements

• Active New Hampshire medical license
• DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABIM or FM
• Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts
• 1 FTE locum need
