Work Environment

This position will predominantly be remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office team. You will work standard hours of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule conducive to both work-life balance and client availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the mental health needs and personal backgrounds of clients, leading to informed treatment approaches.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques and methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, to promote positive client outcomes.
• Provide expert guidance during crisis intervention situations, utilizing skills in de-escalation and empathy to support clients in distress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and peer supervision, to continually enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with low-acuity clients who have undergone pre-screening, effectively streamlining the therapeutic process and allowing for a focused approach to care. The population served includes individuals dealing with anxiety, mild depression, life transitions, and stress management. This targeted client base enables you to concentrate on delivering impactful therapy that achieves tangible results.

Qualifications

• A current and active California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree at minimum with a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management abilities to manage client caseloads efficiently.
• An empathetic, client-centered approach to care that resonates with our values of inclusivity and support.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience is strongly preferred, especially in outpatient settings.
• Experience working in remote mental health practices is an asset, as is familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• Previous work in diverse communities is beneficial as it enhances cultural competence in therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between $110,000 and $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
