Job description

Pediatric Ophthalmologist

Location: Falls Church, VA
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Physician-Owned Multi-Specialty Ophthalmology Practice

Position Summary
We re seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join an established physician-owned practice. This is a partner-track opportunity offering a collaborative environment, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to provide comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology care, including optional ROP screening/treatment and adult strabismus care.

Schedule
• Preferred: 4 days/week (5 days optional for increased earning potential)
• Typical Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Shared call rotation:
o Approximately 3 weeknights
o Weekend rotation shared among 14 physicians

Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat pediatric eye conditions and adult strabismus
• Perform comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and procedures
• Manage surgical and non-surgical treatment plans
• Optional participation in ROP screening and treatment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ophthalmology team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications
Required:
• MD or DO
• Fellowship Training in Pediatric Ophthalmology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Eligible for Virginia Medical License
Preferred:
• Experience with ROP screening/treatment
• Experience managing adult strabismus
• Interest in long-term partnership track
