What are ophthalmologist non-clinical jobs?

Ophthalmologist non-clinical jobs are roles where trained ophthalmologists use their expertise outside of direct patient care. These positions often involve work in research, teaching, medical consulting, healthcare administration, pharmaceuticals, or medical writing. Non-clinical ophthalmologists may contribute to developing new treatments, shaping healthcare policy, or educating future eye care professionals. These roles allow ophthalmologists to have an impact on the field of eye health without providing hands-on patient care.

Ophthalmologists in non-clinical positions often focus on roles such as medical consulting for healthcare companies, medical writing, regulatory affairs, or research and development.
