Your Impact & Responsibilities
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you are the first point of contact for our patients. You will:
- Prepare Patients:Â Room patients and document medical histories, medications, and the primary reason for their visit.
- Diagnostic Testing:Â Learn to operate state-of-the-art equipment to perform visual acuity tests and specialized eye imaging.
- Clinical Support:Â Assist our ophthalmologists during exams and in-office surgical procedures.
- Patient Care:Â Provide a compassionate, professional experience for patients of all ages.
Schedule & Location
- Hours:Â Full-time (80 hours per pay period).
- Shift: Monday – Friday, flexible shifts between 6:45 am – 5:00 pm.
- Travel:Â Occasional travel to satellite clinics may be required.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education:Â High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mindset:Â A genuine interest in healthcare and a "hunger" to learn complex new skills.
- Attention to Detail:Â The ability to follow precise medical instructions and manage data accurately.
- Soft Skills:Â Strong interpersonal communication and a team-first attitude.
- Requirements:Â Ability to obtain CPR certification (within 60 days) and Medication Aide licensure (within 90 days).
