Job description

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

The IT Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for participating as a hands-on technical resource assisting with the implementation and administration of our Salesforce software, system integrations, maintenance functions, production support ensuring high availability, as well as advising management of Salesforce/CRM best practices and assisting with setting strategy for optimal use.

Salary range for this position is $103,793.30 - $121,346.42 with a progressive benefit package. 


Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  6. Maintenance of our Salesforce solution by performing upgrades, addressing technical issues, and improving efficiency by evaluating system functions and integrations.
  7. Work during off hours on system upgrades and fixes to reduce impact on the business.
  8. Ensure high system availability and production support which includes the facilitation of periodic testing, implementation of contingency plans to ensure availability of applications in case of system failure, DR support, and working closely with network, security, vendors, etc.
  9. Manage the vendor relationship as it pertains to the core system.
  10. Serves as liaison between end users and development (technical and non-technical) during all phases of the product lifecycle.
  11. Is responsible for application configuration, patching, regular maintenance, upgrades, release management and production support.
  12. Identifies, promotes, and evaluates idea driven solutions and innovations by clearly understanding the business needs and responding with technical solutions.
  13. Facilitates business process changes for greater efficiency and improvement.
  14. Plans, conducts, directs, and performs project need analysis, managing the delivery of solutions from conception to implementation.
  15. Prepares scope, work-effort, and detailed CBA’s when needed.
  16. Works with current and potential vendors to evaluate, implement, address, and coordinate new hardware & software, releases, patches, regulatory compliance and serves as the point of escalation during outages or periods of degraded software performance.
  17. Acts as the point of contact for business units in solving serious software and usability problems.
  18. Communicating complex technical information to business customers and project teams in an effective and concise manner.
  19. Documents procedures and release plans in a manner such that successful future deployments and redeployments are repeatable.
  20. Performs general administrative functions, vendor due diligence, documentation & maintenance of vendor records.
  21. Contributes technical knowledge and understanding of applications to training programs, support documentation, and operating procedures.
  22. Adheres to the change management process for all changes made to system components by creating specifications in a manner that allows for notification to affected parties and recovery from the change in the event it is necessary.
  23. Provides back up administrative duties for team members where needed.

  1. One or more Salesforce certifications preferred, such as Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce System Architect, Salesforce Platform App Builder
  2. College degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
  3. Five years of similar experience in supporting business applications environments within a financial institution environment.
  4. Experience with core banking data processing, imaging, CRM, account opening, loan origination, and job scheduling systems is preferred.
  5. Proven ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships with outstanding communication skills.
  6. Excellent communication/influence skills, including reports; presentations; group facilitation; ability to develop professional relationships both inside and outside the organization.
  7. Capable of independent judgment with significant discretion to make daily operational decisions.
  8. Must be highly organized and able to execute multiple complex projects concurrently within required timelines and expectations and be able to redirect priorities based upon current workload and system priorities.
  9. Sufficient comprehension of Sales Force/CRM functions to solve unusual as well as common work problems required.
  10. General familiarity with problem analysis and excellent level of problem-solving capabilities to establish adequate solutions to operating problems.
  11. General knowledge of SDLC and projected results of those cycles for related applications.
  12. Experience with API, SFTP preferred.
  13. Experience in development using an agile methodology, preferably through Atlassian products.
  14. Must be able to satisfy all job responsibilities, including detecting and resolving system errors with very limited input from the direct supervisor.
  15. Stays current with emerging technology trends.
  16. Must be flexible to work after-hours and on-call.
  17. Must be bondable.

This position reports to the Enablement & Digital Delivery Director.
This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
