Now we're looking for a Trainer to join our Fulton Distribution Center; someone who thrives on turning new hires into confident, capable associates. You'll report directly to our General Manager and play a hands-on role in shaping how our team learns, grows, and stays safe on the job. If you've trained or mentored in a warehouse or distribution environment, this role is built for you.
What You'll Do
  • Lead new hire orientation and map out training schedules
  • Facilitate hands-on training for DC associates across all departments
  • Teach warehouse safety requirements the right way, every time
  • Provide one-on-one coaching on job-specific tasks and WMS processes
  • Audit work to keep every team aligned with SOPs and training standards
  • Partner regularly with the GM and department leaders to spot ways to improve
  • Track each associate's training progress accurately and consistently
  • Own all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training - initial certification, recertification, and accident retraining
  • Keep safety certifications current with recurring refresher training
  • Mentor associates and help them build confidence in their roles

What You Bring
  • 2+ years training or mentoring in a warehouse/distribution setting (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience operating and training on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered equipment
  • A track record of building strong safety programs
  • Experience with Ferguson or similar supply chain operations
  • Flexibility to train across multiple shifts
  • Sharp organizational skills - you know how to prioritize, delegate, and manage your time
  • Great listening skills and the ability to follow through
  • Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and our learning system (ELM)
  • A knack for building engaging, dynamic presentations
  • Confidence speaking to groups and connecting with people at every level
  • A team-first attitude and strong customer service instincts
  • A drive to keep making things better, one process at a time

Pay Range:
$15.00 - $22.85
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
