What are operator positions?

Operator positions generally refer to jobs where individuals are responsible for running and overseeing machinery, equipment, or industrial processes in a variety of settings such as manufacturing plants, power stations, or control rooms. Operators ensure that equipment runs efficiently and safely, monitor systems, perform basic maintenance, and report malfunctions.
