RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check waste carts and loads for correct waste tag information with signatures.
Help keep a clean work environment for safety reasons.
Communicate with the Operator on Baler and Shredder performance, while exchanging information to the incoming Operator.
Document any movement and perform a checklist of baler and shredder machines prior to start up.
Communicate issues or restraints to the Supervisor.
Weigh and spray paint all good dunnage for identification and complete documentation needed for accurate accounting.
Complete the soak and pin test to get familiar with the quality processes of the corrugator.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED.
Qualified to drive a lift truck.
3-5 years' experience in the corrugated industry
Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
Good attendance record.
Strong mechanical aptitude and possess problem solving skills.
Ability to work any shift including overtime and weekends, as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Starting salary for position: $20.19 per hour.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
