Job description

Summary/Objective
EnviroSmart, d.b.a. ES Integrated, is seeking qualified Operator/Drivers with a Class A or B CDL to support the Industrial Services division in the Sumter, South Carolina and surrounding areas. The candidate should have experience driving/operating roll offs, dump trucks, flatbed, box trucks, pull trailers, etc. All employees will also perform heavy operations (if/when properly trained) and field tech duties. Employees may also be cross trained to assist in other field divisions. Performance is measured for Safety, Quality, and Value delivered to the project and company. Working conditions include; outside work, extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, shift work, flexible schedules.
Essential Functions
  • Drive all commercial vehicles with Safety, Quality, and Value in mind at all times
  • Working knowledge of all DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Complete all DOT/FMCSA documentation to include log books, etc
  • Minimum 6 months CDL driving experience

Certifications/Training/ Licensure
  • Valid Class A or B CDL (Required)
  • Tanker Endorsement
  • Hazmat Endorsement (Must be willing and able to acquire Hazmat Endorsement if you don't already have it within 90 days of hire)
  • Clean driving record (Required)
  • Current Medical Card (Required)
  • Must be able to travel for days at at time
  • HAZWOPER Certification (Required but will train)
  • HEO Operations (Preferred but will train)

Required Eligibility Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Pass pre-employment physical
  • Pass pre-employment and random non-DOT drug and alcohol screening
  • Experience in civil construction, site cleanup, industrial cleaning, or landscaping type activities a plus
  • Reliable transportation to and from work and the ability to fulfill varying beginning and ending shift times
  • General site work and hand tool use skill
  • Demonstrate a safe working culture

Physical Demands
Must be able to:
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to physically to use power and hand tools
  • Able to carry industrial hoses (up to 60 lbs) up and down multiple flights of stairs
  • Ability to work in varying (extreme) temperatures, depending upon season
  • Must complete all pre and post training; including safety, new hire, and regulatory

Hours of Work
  • Typical week will consist of Monday - Friday, 8-10 hours per day
  • Some weekends as needed

Travel
  • Must be able to commute to job site each day.
  • Must be able travel and stay overnight as required - varies by project
