Please note that this full-time position is project-based and is not expected to continue beyond December 2027, due to the planned relocation of the plant. Eligible new hires in good standing who successfully complete required training and demonstrate proficiency may qualify for incentive bonuses, contingent upon active employment at the time of position elimination.

I.   Purpose of Position

Operate blade grinding equipment to produce high quality razor blades.

II.  Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Procedures:

  • Maintain and operate blade grinding machines in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls.
  • Maintain specifications by observing quality standards and utilizing precision measurement equipment
  • Resolve production problems to meet specifications and troubleshoot equipment; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Keep machines and work area clean.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality records.

III.  Required Skills and Experience

  • Must be able to correctly read and interpret instruments and gages.
  • Must be able to correctly calculate basic mathematics equations (addition, subtraction, division, percentages).
  • 2 years prior manufacturing experience.  Examples:  CNC Operator, Press Operator, Machine Operator, Molding Technician, or Maintenance background and/or related technical certification.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills.
  • Strong Communications Skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent mechanical skills, both verbal and written.
  • High speed machine/equipment operation.
  • Demonstrates problem solving & trouble shooting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of blue print reading.
  • Demonstrates quality awareness & attention to detail.
