Job description

The Business Systems Analyst will support various systems and applications across Urban Grid, primarily, but not limited to, supporting finance and project management functions.  This position will work closely with both third-party IT service and technology providers and Urban Grid employees to support, maintain, develop, implement and improve business systems and related reporting capabilities.  The Business System Analyst will also ensure adherence and compliance to established business, operational, security and compliance processes, and governance to ensure correct technical, operational, and business outcomes and objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities

         Manage third-party service provider service delivery governance and service level assurance.

         Support and maintain Procore, OneStream, NetSuite and all other assigned business systems.

         Support internal clients through continuous improvement and providing standard and consistent service levels.

         Lead system implementation and upgrade projects, including formulating and executing user acceptance test plans.

         Contribute to the development of project definition and scope with applicable business and technology stakeholders and senior-level management make informed decisions about initiatives.

         Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to business system.

         Analyze current business processes, recommending and implementing agreed process automation and improvements.

Requirements

         Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.

         3-5 years of experience supporting business (ERP, finance, accounting, project management) systems.

         Demonstrated experience supporting OneStream and NetSuite preferred.

         Demonstrated experience supporting Procore preferred.

         Solar power industry experience is a plus.

         Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools.

         Knowledge of workflow, process mapping, form validation and automation.

         Basic understanding of networking and infrastructure.

         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

         Excellent communication skills ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company employees.

         Ability to work independently and self-motivated.

         Strong work ethic and exceptionally high work standards.

         Must have strong organizational capacity to simultaneously manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
