Job description

We are looking for an experienced Operations Support specialist to help drive efficient daily business activities and strengthen coordination across teams in one of the following locations:


Jamestown, North Dakota

Phoenix, Arizona

Lenexa, Kansas

Miami, Florida


This Long-term Contract position focuses on supporting purchasing and sales operations through process coordination, issue resolution, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong supply chain knowledge, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to improve workflows while maintaining productive relationships with internal partners and suppliers.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate operational activities that support daily purchasing and sales functions while helping teams maintain smooth and timely execution.

• Maintain organized records, reports, and business documentation to promote accuracy, visibility, and compliance across processes.

• Partner with cross-functional groups to address workflow issues, remove obstacles, and improve overall operational performance.

• Monitor supplier-related activities and follow up on open items to help maintain continuity of supply and dependable delivery outcomes.

• Use Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise systems such as SAP R/3 to track data, prepare updates, and support decision-making.

• Assist with projects focused on process improvement, efficiency gains, and better coordination across supply chain activities.

• Support delivery assurance efforts by identifying risks, escalating concerns when needed, and helping teams stay aligned on commitments.

• Build collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and other business partners to support operational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of applicable experience.
• Proven background in supply chain logistics, operations support, or a closely related business function.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and managing follow-up activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and resolve issues effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience using SAP R/3 or similar enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of project coordination, process improvement, Lean methods, or delivery assurance practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and build strong relationships with varied stakeholders.
• Aerospace industry experience is preferred.
