Position Summary
Responsible for clerical/administrative tasks; position supports various functions in Operations Detail department.
Who You Are:
* Professional, well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to correspond effectively.
* Interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with outside parties, members, and co-workers.
* Fundamental mathematical knowledge/skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Organize and prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines; adapt to workflow changes by managing competing demands and effectively handle frequent change, delays, or other unexpected events.
What You Will Do:
* Responsible for accurately filing Operations-related documents; input and scan data into database, and prepare correspondence. Tasks related to creating copies, sending correspondence, supply orders, and other office tasks.
* Ability to adhere to training and develop strong standard of credit union policies/procedures and services.
* Maintain member privacy while monitoring for fraudulent and deceptive practices.
* Answer calls from members and other employees when there are Operations-related questions; respond in timely manner. Alert appropriate credit union official if fraudulent or suspicious account activity observed.
* Acts in compliance with rules, regulations, and statutory requirements. Focus on aspects of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and proper reporting procedures.
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of clerical or administrative support experience.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- May consider any combination of education, training, and experience which provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
