In this role, you will analyze complex business data, forecast future capacity needs, and collaborate across teams to design solutions that improve production efficiency, eliminate waste, and reduce costs-all while adhering to technical and quality standards. Your contributions will directly support Intel's ability to deliver cutting-edge technologies to a global market, positioning you to make a tangible impact in shaping Intel's future.**Business group**You will join Intel's Foundry Capacity Optimization (FCO) organization, a team responsible for factory space, capacity, and capital equipment planning. FCO plays a leadership role in defining Intel's growth strategy by enabling data-driven decisions that align with long-term manufacturing objectives, balancing near-term execution with future scalability. As part of this team, you will work collaboratively across Intel's manufacturing, technology development, and finance groups to support the company's broader goals of delivering world-class technology solutions.**Key Responsibilities*** Develop and execute long-term capacity strategies, considering product roadmaps, architecture, demand variability, factory capabilities, and forecast uncertainties.* Analyze operational data to identify risks and opportunities and communicate recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.* Optimize equipment schedules, layouts, and procurement plans to ensure operational efficiency while meeting cost, quality, and technical requirements.* Design production capacity models, implement layout methodologies, and develop data systems to improve factory performance and maintain quality standards.* Forecast build plans and facility designs to align with evolving business needs and customer requirements.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed execution plans and systems supporting organizational goals.* Monitor and evaluate toolset performance and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Intel's network strategy and compliance with objectives.* Communicate organizational strategies related to capital, capacity, and product roadmaps to stakeholders and manufacturing teams.## **Qualifications:**You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Finance or Accounting or Economics or a related specialized field with 4 or more years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or a PhD. Degree.4+ years of experience with the following technical skills:* Advanced proficiency in manufacturing systems design, process optimization, and data analysis.* Hands-on experience with simulation software, statistical analysis tools, or equivalent industry-standard technologies.* Strong project management skills and proficiency in Excel, including advanced analytics and modeling capabilities.* Advanced proficiency in programming languages or data visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, or Power BI.**This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration Sponsorship.****Preferred Qualifications:*** Master's degree or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.* Experience driving large-scale process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.* Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and deliver actionable insights.* Previous experience in semiconductor manufacturing or technology-related industries.* demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Experience within the semiconductor industry is preferred, particularly in wafer foundry, OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test), or other high-volume manufacturing environments."Join our team of innovative thinkers and problem-solvers where your expertise will influence the future of industrial operations at Intel.
