Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to analyze production data and develop optimization strategies to improve efficiency across manufacturing operations. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Production Department in an office/production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

The Operations Research Analyst will develop data-driven models, identify process improvements, and support production optimization efforts while assisting this Production Department as needed.

Responsibilities
  •  Analyze production data from final assembly lines including assembly, testing, and packing processes
  •  Develop optimization models to improve line balancing, cycle time, throughput, and labor efficiency
  •  Identify bottlenecks in production processes and recommend data-driven improvements
  •  Support production planning, scheduling, and capacity optimization initiatives
  •  Apply statistical methods to analyze defects, improve yield, and reduce variability
  •  Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support operational improvements
  •  Design simulations and predictive models to evaluate production scenarios and resource allocation
  •  Monitor and report key performance indicators including OEE, takt time, throughput, and first pass yield
  •  Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to leadership and operations teams
  •  Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics methodologies
  •  Assist in automation and digitalization efforts by integrating data analytics into manufacturing systems
  •  Validate data accuracy and ensure integrity across reporting systems and databases
  •  Identify trends and patterns in production performance to support decision-making
  •  Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
  •  Other Duties as assigned 

Qualifications
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field required
  •  1–3 years of experience in data analysis, operations research, or manufacturing analytics preferred
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in statistical modeling and optimization techniques
  •  Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools preferred
  •  Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or similar) preferred
  •  Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, takt time, and yield preferred
  •  Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  •  Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  •  Experience with MES, ERP, or production data systems preferred
  •  Ability to sit, stand, and walk in an office and production environment and lift up to 25 pounds
