DESCRIPTION: The mission of the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate (BSA) is to win the hearts and minds of non-Jews and Jews through powerful positive messaging and partnerships, motivating and equipping them to be defenders of and upstanders for Jews. BSA focuses on spreading the Blue Square and associated programs to spur action by people of all backgrounds. Working with a network of partners, BSA leverages unique monitoring technology to drive effective rapid response to Jewish hate and all hate, in addition to proactive programs that galvanize popular support for the Jewish community.

SUMMARY: The Program Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Blue Square Alliance Against Hate (BSA) programming, with a focus on university initiatives and professional sports partnerships. This role manages cross-functional operations, partner engagement, and event execution across high-profile programs and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and experienced managing complex programs involving multiple stakeholders and external partners.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and success metrics for BSA programs, events, and strategic initiatives 
  2. Coordinate cross-functional teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective program execution and operational alignment 
  3. Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve program effectiveness, scalability, and partner engagement 
  4. Manage speaker and talent engagement, including outreach, scheduling, contracting, and relationship management 
  5. Manage relationships with sports organizations, universities, and external partners to support activations, campus programs, and stakeholder engagement initiatives 
  6. Lead planning and execution of Blue Square activations, league convenings, and partner engagement opportunities 
  7. Prepare meeting and event materials, stakeholder communications, briefing documents, and run-of-show agendas for programs and events 
  8. Oversee event logistics, participant communications, registration, onsite staffing, and execution in collaboration with vendors, venues, and external partners 
  9. Partner with marketing and communications teams on promotional strategy, content development, media opportunities, and post-event communications 
  10. Develop scalable engagement processes and templates to support long-term program growth 
  11. Maintain Salesforce records, campaigns, reporting workflows, and partner engagement tracking systems
  12. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  13. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree 
  • 4-6 years of experience in program management, partnerships, events or related fields
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners 
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects forward independently 
  • Experience coordinating events, convenings, or large-scale programs 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred 
  • Interest or experience in sports preferred
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
  • Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
