Job Description

Responsibilities:

This position will lead a delivery team responsible for implementing innovative commerical energy efficiency programs. This position will have close coordination with marketing, operations, engineering, and the client to ensure program goals are met and/or exceeded. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a passion for leadership and exceeding goals.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist in managing client contracts and budgets to ensure compliance and successful performance.
  • Meet and manage program deliverables to high quality standards, budget, and timeline.
  • Assist in developing and accurately track program budgets and performance metrics, implementation strategies and required analytics.
  • Proactively communicate program updates and risks with clients, management, and other program stakeholders.
  • Prepare timely, accurate and meaningful status reports for both the clients and management.
  • Assist in managing in-office and shared-servicesresources and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff, provide feedback regarding team member performance and provide documentation for performance goals toward growth and professional development.
  • Assist in providing mentoring and support for staff development.
  • Partner with portfolio staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Interact with key internal departments such as Engineering, IT, Marketing, and Finance to meet program needs.
  • Interact with client customers, contractors, trade allies, and service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in energy efficiency and/or energy efficiency program delivery desired.
  • Current Certified Energy Manager Certification (CEM) highly preferred.
  • 2+ years people management
  • Experience and knowledge with commercial systems, technologies and practices.
  • A strong desire to enter program management.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; with proficient Excel experience.
  • Previous experience with data tracking software systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow within a team environment.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to drive/travel throughout a defined territory.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include daily use of a PC.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Perform all the above while always using safe working practices.

Travel:

  • May require overnight travel up to 20%.

Management/Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position directly manages 4 to 6 team members.
  • This position reports to a Senior Program Manager.

Target Compensation:

$80,000 to $96,000

DOT Requirements
