At ReLogic Research, you won't be just another headcount. We're a tight-knit team of engineers, physicists, and technical professionals solving complex challenges in national defense - and we're looking for an organized, motivated Operations Associate who wants to build a career in defense business operations from the ground up.
As an AS9100D-certified small business supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Missile Defense Agency, our operations team keeps the business running behind the scenes. This role provides support across purchasing, quality management, and proposal activities - giving the right candidate broad exposure to how a defense contractor operates and a clear path to grow into a specialized role.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the purchasing function by assisting with purchase order processing, supplier communications, and procurement record keeping
  • Assist with quality management system documentation including maintaining records, tracking corrective actions, and supporting audit preparation
  • Support proposal and business development activities including organizing proposal materials, tracking submission deadlines, and coordinating inputs from technical teams
  • Help maintain accurate and organized records across purchasing, quality, and business development functions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information, track action items, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Support operations leadership with administrative and coordination tasks as needed

Required Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of experience in an operations, administrative, or business support role - or equivalent education and experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Genuine interest in learning defense business operations across multiple functional areas

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field - or equivalent professional experience
  • Familiarity with purchasing, procurement, or supply chain processes
  • Exposure to quality management systems or ISO/AS9100 standards
  • Experience supporting proposals, contracts, or government procurement processes
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments

This is a full-time salaried position with highly competitive compensation based on experience and skills, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
