Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Solder Dip Operator/FGS. Responsible for the efficient running of Solder Dip & Finished Goods on 1st shift within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location. Pay is $17.
Job Location:
Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world's number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.
What you will be doing:
  • Apply a new smooth coating of solder of the wire leads, of the completed capacitor, to meet solder ability requirements, using the Unity Design Machine along with the hand solder pots.
  • Perform daily testing and solder analysis
  • Record critical data on lot traveler ticket

What you will bring along:
  • Previous manufacturing experience helpful.
  • May have occasional exposure to dust, noise, heat, and mild chemicals that fall below acceptable limits as established by current government standards
  • Adheres to company quality and safety requirements
  • Must wear required PPE
