We are seeking General Production employees for a variety of positions.
Melt: Control iron quality and relieve employees as required. Operate equipment used in Melt Department including cupola/furnace, holding furnaces, desulfurizing vessel, converters, cranes and any equipment that is essential to normal operations.
Molding & Knock Off: Remove gates, risers, runner bars, sprues, and fins from castings using wedger or sledge hammer. Transport full and empty ladles between the melt furnaces. Pour molten metal into molds. Collect information about ladle number, molds poured, and iron temperature.
The expected pay range is $21.35 - $23.35 per hour depending on position.

  • Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
  • Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by encouraging and supporting responsible operating procedures
  • Secure proper tools for each task.
  • Communicate suggestions and recommend solutions to problems to provide for an efficient operation.
  • Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member.

What We Need from You:

  • Job may require decimals and fractions, drawings and formulas, measuring instruments and a variety of hand tools.
  • Ability to lift up to at least 75 pounds.
  • Some judgment to stay in sync with instructions, follow methods, make minor decisions.
