The Demand Planning Lead will report to the Global Planning Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Track and analyze forecast variance / bias and update forecasts to continually improve forecast accuracy, including segmentation of forecast vs. non-forecast (MTS-driven) demand.
• Develop New Product Forecasts with other functions, incorporating demand scenarios, ramp profiles, and service/repair consumption assumptions.
• Identify best practices and improvement opportunities, including advancement of demand planning maturity, standard operating procedures, and global consistency across GeoZones.

• Lead governance of Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) strategies, including classification logic, stocking levels, and alignment to network lead-times.
• Integrate asset-based demand planning methodologies (e.g., repair demand, utilization-driven demand, and cadence-based planning) into traditional forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain Service BOMs and consumption models to define expected material usage by activity/repair level, improving demand signal quality and working capital efficiency.
• Manage opportunities to improve inventory redeployments and network optimization (DC/BP balancing, repositioning strategies, and lead-time alignment).
• Work with manufacturing and repair facilities to improve operational measures including OTD, Past Due, Lead Time, and material readiness for execution.
• Ensure alignment between demand plans and repair schedules with a focus on execution readiness for the 90 day+ horizon.
• Maintain safety and service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business.
• Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices.
• Collaborate with key internal and external partners to document changes / overrides, assumptions and inputs for Sales and Operations Planning meetings.
• Add internal and external intelligence to the forecast such as operational demand signals, asset utilization, repair cycles, product launches and discontinuations, price changes, and competitive activity.
• Work closely with Marketing, Account Planning, Operations, R&M, and Replenishment teams to deliver accurate and executable demand plans.
• Present / review key changes in monthly S&OP and operational cadence meetings, highlighting significant impacts to Supply Chain, operational readiness, and Financial projections.
• Lead structured monthly demand planning cadence across global and regional teams, ensuring alignment of forecast, supply plan, and execution plans.
• Contribute to enhancements of demand planning systems, including requirements definition, system validation, and development of reporting tools (e.g., dashboards for forecast accuracy, fill rate, and demand alignment).
• Ensure forecasting processes and methods are followed, continuously improved, and standardized across all product lines and regions.
• Influence teams to adopt structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and improve processes within the department and cross-functional programs.
• Develop scenarios and "what-if" analyses in conjunction with other functions, including demand variability, supply disruptions, and inventory strategy impacts.
