Role Overview
Apex Wellness Group is seeking a high-impact Performance Manager (PM) to oversee and elevate the performance of three F45 Training studios within the NYC portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving studio performance through strong in-studio presence, operational execution, and sales-informed decision-making.
The Performance Manager works closely with the Operations Manager, Head Trainers, and corporate leadership to ensure each F45 Training studio operates at the level of Apex's top-performing locations.
Site Presence & Time Commitment
  • One full on-site working day per week at each F45 Training studio (3 days minimum on-site).
  • Active presence on the studio floor to lead, coach, and influence performance
  • Regular engagement with Head Trainers and studio leadership teams

Primary Responsibilities:
Performance, Sales & Growth
  • Lead overall studio performance across MindBody revenue, Net Member Gain, and retention
  • Apply strong sales understanding to drive accountability and revenue outcomes
  • Execute and monitor growth strategies implemented by Apex management
  • Monitor and support performance across ClassPass, Gympass, and OnePass

In-Studio Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead from the floor with strong in-studio presence and credibility
  • Monitor class experience, coaching quality, and brand execution
  • Upskill, mentor, and develop coaching teams

Conduct regular meetings with Head Trainers to identify performance hurdles using data insights and in-studio observations.
Operations & Studio Execution
• Partner with the Operations Manager to support audits and operational compliance
• Assist with audits for minimum Head Trainer class counts in Prospr
• Ensure consistent execution of Apex and F45 Training SOPs
• Support resolution of studio-level issues prior to escalation
Communication & Alignment
• Act as a performance and leadership link between studios and corporate leadership
• Maintain clear reporting, feedback loops, and performance visibility across the portfolio
