Job description

Job Title:         Operations Supervisor

Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration:         12 Months (Possibility of extension and conversion)
Location:         Dubuque, IA, 52001
Shift:                3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead production teams to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals
• Execute production schedules and manage workforce allocation
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and enforce company policies
• Identify skill gaps and support training, onboarding, and development
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure quality standards are met
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and housekeeping standards
• Manage overtime, staffing, and daily production priorities
• Maintain communication between management and shop floor employees

Required Skills (with Experience):

• Strong production supervision & team leadership experience with 3+ years experience
• Manufacturing operations management with 3+ years experience
• Performance management & employee development with 2+ years experience
