Position Summary...What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Member Experiences will lead the strategy and execution of member-facing (B2C) events and activations across Sam’s Club. This role is responsible for bringing the MAP retail experience network to life through in-club and in-market experiences that engage members, elevate the brand, and drive measurable business impact.
This role requires a strong operator and collaborator with expertise in experiential marketing, capable of translating strategy into high-quality execution. The ideal candidate blends creativity with operational rigor and thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.


About the team:
The Events team drives operational excellence by streamlining processes and enhancing partner relationships across the organization. This team collaborates cross-functionally to implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency and support business growth. Focused on delivering measurable impact, the team manages vendor and partner engagements, oversees budget adherence, and ensures alignment with strategic objectives. Members leverage strong business and financial acumen to optimize performance and enable successful execution of initiatives, fostering a results-driven environment that supports continuous improvement and operational success.


What you'll do:

  • Plan and execute all member-facing events
  • Translate MAP strategy into scalable, high-impact B2C experiences that drive engagement and member value.
  • Ensure all activations are aligned to brand standards and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Membership, Media, and Operations to deliver priority, integrated experiences.
  • Build strong working relationships, including Media Strategy to ensure seamless promotion, coordination and delivery.
  • Establish and manage timelines, budgets, and workflows across concurrent activations.
  • Implement consistent processes for planning, execution, and post-event measurement.
  • Track performance metrics; optimize programs based on insights and feedback.
  • Manage relationships with experiential, production, and technology vendors.
  • Support vendor selection to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency.


What you'll bring:

  • 6–8 years of experience in experiential marketing, event execution, or brand activations.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end execution of consumer-facing events or programs.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of retail, omnichannel marketing, or member/customer engagement.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
