Operations Manager Two Jobs in Hood River, OR (NOW HIRING)

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 for Adventist Health Columbia Gorge.

This faith-based, nonprofit includes a 49-bed medical center located in The Dalles, Oregon, and is surrounded by a variety of primary, specialty, and immediate care clinics that support patients from rural communities around Columbia River Gorge.

About the job

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver exceptional environmental services that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll manage daily operations, guide team development, and help maintain high standards that create clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $64600 per year - $83600 per year

• Proven experience leading or supervising environmental services or custodial teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance within facilities operations.
• Excellent multitasking skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving operational goals.
• Clear, confident communication skills paired with strong attention to detail.
• Technical proficiency with custodial tools, processes, and operational systems to support team effectiveness.

• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Management Experience: 0-3 years
• Related Experience: 0-3 years
