Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Service and Operations Leader to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN!
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Employee Benefits service operations success. Objectives of this position are to improve overall client service, quality, retention, and related operational efficiencies while supporting business growth, enhancing the teammate experience, and is accelerating strategic initiatives as a key stakeholder. This role serves as a key business partner in thought leadership, execution and management support. The leader will provide guidance and solutions for profit center leadership, service teams and teammates, sales leadership, carrier relationships, and more.
How You Will Contribute:
  • Lead communications and related training efforts with identified cadence alongside local leadership team (ie. Weekly Cheetah Huddles, Monthly Department Meetings, Service Teammate Roll Play, EB Town Halls, other)
  • Support senior leadership in the overall development and execution of the business strategy for employee benefits.
  • Identify needs and areas for operational improvements in support of business objectives via talent, P&L, investment and/or structural assessments.
  • Manage the implementation of regional and national solutions, tools, processes, and other best practices within the local market.
  • Assist and partner with regional operations leadership for the development and deployment of service standards, requirements, reporting insights, and enhancements.
  • Support employee benefits technology adoption initiatives and related change management needs for local teammates.
  • Lead office in adopting and maintaining consistent and efficient procedures. Ensure that systems, procedures, compliance standards, and other regulations are adhered to and support evolving B&B IO standards.
  • Support the practice in leveraging analytics and insights to identify deficiencies and related opportunities / operational means to overcome.
  • Deliver on training and development needs to achieve expected levels of client services.
  • Identify, design, and implement strategies in collaboration for local leadership for continued profit center growth.
  • Review, prepare and deliver monthly analyses / project management metrics to measure progress in achieving objectives.
  • Holds direct supervisory responsibility for assigned team members, including oversight of day-to-day activities, performance management, coaching, and professional development.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Completion of Designation / Life & Health Insurance Producer license in good standing. (preferred)

Skills & Experience to be Successful:
  • 10+ years' experience in employee benefits and related leadership. (preferred)
  • Associate degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of coverage in health and life lines insurance coverage.
  • Proficient in profit center computer programs, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, and insurance company proprietary software.

Pay Range
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
