About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on National Sales Manager to lead and develop our Direct and Regional Sales Managers while implementing aggressive sales strategies across the United States. This role carries direct accountability for all direct and indirect PPI sales activities, requiring close collaboration with operations, procurement, quality, and other key departments.

Ideal Candidate Profile & Core Expertise

Beyond strong leadership qualities, we are looking for a proven industry expert who brings deep, hands-on experience in the Pulp and Paper (PPI) market. Specifically, the ideal candidate must possess direct technical and commercial background with pumps, mixers, screens, or specific application experience directly inside pulp and paper mills. They will use this deep industry fluency to lead teams, manage major corporate and OEM accounts, and forge partnerships.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales growth targets by developing and executing annual sales plans for the US PPI market.

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and monitor the performance of Regional Sales Managers and Application Specialists.

  • Own and manage direct corporate accounts, building solid partnerships and negotiating OEM/corporate agreements.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to expand sales of new and existing products.

Travel Expectation: High travel requirement of 60%-70%, primarily targeting Atlanta, Georgia, the Carolinas, and the broader Southeast region of the US.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical degree preferred; MBA is a plus.

  • 10 to 15 years of regional sales experience, with a mandatory background in the Pulp and Paper industry featuring hands-on application experience with mill equipment such as pumps, mixers, or screens.

  • At least 5 years of people management experience leading sales teams.
