We are looking for a Manager, Project Management to join our team in Valley Green, PA.

The Manager, Project Management is responsible for leading the Project Management function, overseeing a portfolio of complex new product development projects, sustaining engineering projects, and ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery across global teams. This position provides both strategic and technical leadership, supervises project managers, partners closely with internal customers, and ensures alignment with company financial goals, operational readiness, and market expectations. The Manager serves as the primary escalation point for project issues, drives continuous improvement in project workflows, and ensures discipline, consistency, and excellence across all project execution activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop project managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development guidance.
  • Establish project management best practices, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Allocate project resources, balance workload across the team, and provide strategic direction to ensure successful execution of all program deliverables.
  • Oversee execution of highly complex new product development projects and sustaining engineering projects, ensuring alignment with specifications, schedule, quality objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Ensure project scope and objectives are clearly defined, documented, and communicated across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor completion of major project deliverables, milestones, and gate assessments.
  • Serve as a senior communication interface, conveying project status, schedules, risks, and technical requirements.
  • Support project managers in managing customer expectations and maintaining strong, collaborative customer relationships.
  • Support functional managers with scheduling and tracking of significant projects related to customer programs and internal projects
  • Communicate updates to functional leadership and executive management.
  • Drive decisions that support optimal time-to-market, time-to-volume, and time-to-profitability.
  • Ensure project teams are following Strategic Development Process and integrating operational readiness throughout development.
  • Provide technical guidance for project teams across multiple global sites, facilitating solutions to engineering challenges that impact execution.
  • Ensure the proper setup of systems and processes required for ordering, manufacturing, and launching new products.
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks using structured risk-management tools.
  • Implement corrective action and improvement strategies to prevent recurrence of delivery, quality, or cost issues.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the project management organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required; 4+ years of project management experience within the connector or related industry preferred.
  • Supervisory or team-leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical product drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to write reports, present information, and interact with all levels of management and customers.
  • Proven ability to lead customer communication and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in root-cause analysis.
