What We Are Looking For

We're seeking a driven Manager, Project Management to lead a team of project managers responsible for delivering projects across our client base. While tactical project management experience is relevant, this is first and foremost a people management role. Your primary focus will be on managing resources, providing unwavering support, guidance, and accountability to your team. Your direct reports are responsible for managing large enterprise accounts within major financial services institutions, meaning you will play a critical role in enabling their success. You will provide strategic oversight, ensure the consistent application of project management practices, and support the overall development and performance of your team.

What You Will Work On
  • Direct the day-to-day operations of the project management team, ensuring adherence to departmental standards.
  • Define employee goals, assign work, manage resource allocation, handle escalations, and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Actively coach direct reports to navigate complex project roadblocks and advance their career growth.
  • Break down complex issues into actionable tasks, assign them to relevant team members to gather required information, synthesize the results, and partner with your team to help prioritize these issues.
  • Identifies and drives opportunities for process improvements and product automation to support client satisfaction and scalability.
  • Train new hires, measure team progress, provide continuous feedback, and proactively escalate team issues as needed.
  • Partner closely with senior cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment between project execution and organizational priorities.
  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders on the client side, particularly within large enterprise financial services institutions, acting as a strategic point of contact and escalation.
  • Demonstrate ownership of company culture and employee engagement, proactively sharing ideas to improve the working environment.

Requirements

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certification (PgMP, MSP, PMP) preferred
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a People Manager, with a strong focus on team development, enablement, and mentorship.
  • 7-10 years of experience in program/project management or customer-facing roles within large enterprises, ideally with Fortune 500 and financial services experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale teams that manage large, complex enterprise accounts (specific experience supporting financial services institutions is highly preferred).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the proven ability to comfortably engage, influence, and build relationships with both senior cross-functional leaders and senior client-side executives.
  • Experience independently addressing medium-term problems and providing lasting solutions that can become standard procedure for future issues.
  • Strong independent judgment and problem-solving skills, capable of synthesizing complex situations to support your team.
  • Experience with various marketing technologies (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • A background in digital marketing and working with technical SaaS products is highly preferred.
