The Project Manager for Bank Operations plays a pivotal role in this transformation, collaborating with five product and engineering groups (10+ engineering teams and 10+ product managers) and four operations organizations (Bank Voice, Bank Operations, Customer Protection, Enterprise Payments) to identify and define strategic initiatives, track and report on their progress, coordinate with partner teams to ensure efficient and well-managed delivery, and challenge us to deliver business value across the ecosystem of Bank's operations. Proficiency in Tableau, Jira, and Snowflake is required for this role. General Responsibilities:

  • Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.

  • Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

  • Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time.

  • Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent

  • Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

  • Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. New York, NY: $165,700 - $189,200 for Manager, Project Management


Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
