Location: Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY Reports To: Assistant Operations Manager
Leesel Transportation is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to support our growing Coney Island operation. This highly visible leadership role will oversee daily operations, support drivers and matrons, drive safety and compliance, and help ensure reliable service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Support daily transportation operations and dispatch activities.

Build strong relationships with drivers and matrons through regular field engagement.

Monitor attendance, performance, safety, and service delivery.

Ensure compliance with DVIR, Lytx, DOE/OPT, and company policies.

Assist with onboarding, coaching, and employee development.

Help manage operational costs, including fuel and toll expenses.

Partner with Operations, Safety, Dispatch, and Fleet teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:

Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in transportation, logistics, or operations preferred.

Knowledge of safety and compliance programs is a plus.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Salary Range $55,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience
