Bradford Airport Logistics is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to work day shift at our SMF Receiving and Distribution Center, serving the Sacramento International Airport (SMF). We're counting on you to oversee and manage the administrative functions including onboarding, teammate documentation, payroll administration, badging compliance, training coordination, reporting, billing support and administrative compliance. This critical role, you will collaborate with other departments to meet customer KPIs and SLAs and act as a champion of BAL's company values.

Requirements for a Warehouse Operations Manager:
  • An Associate degree is required in business administration, human resources, accounting, finance, or operations management; directly related experience may substitute for education.
  • Minimum 3 years in team or employee management in administration, operations support, payroll, human resources, finance or related experience
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, aviation or other fast-paced operational environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, payroll administration, training coordination, recordkeeping, compliance documentation or customer service functions preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, email, databases, Internet); ability to execute action plans; detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to pass TSA background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for work-related training or support.

Your Responsibilities as the Operations Supervisor will be:
  • Lead and support administrative personnel by providing supervision, coaching, training, and direction while ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Oversee teammate onboarding, personnel administration, and training programs, including employment documentation, orientation coordination, record maintenance, certification tracking, and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Manage payroll, attendance, and workforce administration processes by reviewing timekeeping records, resolving discrepancies, maintaining employee documentation, and coordinating with Corporate Human Resources and Payroll teams.
  • Coordinate airport badging, security compliance, operational reporting, and administrative recordkeeping, ensuring all required documentation is accurate, current, and aligned with customer, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Serve as a key liaison between site operations and corporate departments, driving process improvements, supporting operational and staffing needs, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the operation.
