Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Mitigation Manager for a water and fire damage restoration company in Irvine, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $43.27-$50/hr. In this role, you will oversee daily mitigation operations - including water damage, fire and smoke, and mold remediation projects - manage field crews across active job sites, and build estimates using Xactimate. This position includes a robust benefits package starting from day one of your assignment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Mitigation Supervisors, Lead Technicians, and Mitigation Technicians across water, fire, smoke, mold, and contents restoration projects.
  • Schedule crews, equipment, and resources to meet project timelines and budget targets.
  • Create, review, and approve mitigation estimates in Xactimate, including supplements and estimate revisions.
  • Review moisture mapping reports, drying logs, photos, and daily job notes to ensure documentation meets insurance carrier requirements.
  • Communicate directly with customers, insurance adjusters, and property managers throughout the restoration process.
  • Conduct safety meetings, field training sessions, and performance evaluations for mitigation personnel.

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of restoration industry experience in water, fire, and mold mitigation.
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience leading field crews.

Preferred Qualifications
  • IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) certifications such as WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), FSRT (Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician), or similar.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent restoration projects and crews across different job sites.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and restoration project management software.
  • Hands-on experience using Xactimate estimating software.
