Job description

Chick-fil-A Roanoke is seeking motivated candidates who are passionate about serving others, positively impacting their community, business/entrepreneurship, and providing excellent hospitality. Candidates who apply to a leadership role should desire to pursue Chick-fil-A as a career or wish to gain valuable experience over years that they may carry on with them to achieve their long term goals.

Candidates selected for this position will join our restaurant team to master day-to-day operational basics before officially entering Chick-fil-A Roanoke's Aspire Leadership Development Program. As a team member learning day-to-day operations, the participant will spend the majority of their time learning the business by serving alongside the team. During this time candidates can expect to learn through hands-on experience while receiving regular 1-on-1 coaching.

Through our Aspire Leadership Development program we invest in candidates by meeting them where they are on their leadership journey; tailoring timelines and training investment to the candidate's needs. Aspire offers a balance of hands-on training and self-led development designed to build initiative and help candidates pursue what's next. The capstone position in the process is a Director role that empowers leaders to take ownership of an area of a multimillion dollar business; implementing a vision and striving for excellence. CFA ROA Executive Leaders partner closely with Directors to set and achieve a shared team vision, have a positive impact on our local community, and help directors achieve individual personal and professional goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree OR two years or more of articulable leadership experience positively influencing others (this experience can be from other jobs, sports, extracurriculars, church, etc.).
  • Intention to work within the Chick-fil-A Roanoke organization 2 or more years (non-contractual).
  • Desire to pursue Chick-fil-A as a career or gain high level leadership and business experience during years of tenure.
  • A passion for servant leadership and a goal-oriented desire to grow personally and professionally.
  • Willingness to serve at any of our three locations in order to best learn and fulfill needs of the business.
  • Willingness to set an example and learn the entire business by serving in all restaurant positions including front of house and kitchen.
  • Full-time availability (35 hours or more per week) is preferred.

Compensation Details:

  • Part-time candidates can expect ($14 to $20) starting pay range based on factors including but not limited to experience and availability.
  • Full-time candidates can expect ($15-$20) starting pay range based on factors including but not limited to experience and availability.
  • All training is paid.
  • Evaluations with opportunity for pay raise every 6 months or every leadership promotion.
  • Two annual $1,500 Corporate Scholarship Opportunities ($3,000 total opportunity annually): one opportunity for each Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Free meal up to $10.70 in value for every work day; increasing to $15.70 per day for Assistant Directors, $17.70 per day for Directors
  • *Full-time leader benefits: Health/Dental/Vision insurance contributions, 401k matching up to 3%, Vacation
  • *Leaders may receive bonus opportunities/incentives based on leadership role and hours worked during a predetermined timeframe.
