Overview
Job Title: Operations Manager II
Location: Washington, DC
The Operations Manager II provides operational and administrative support to command operations by coordinating daily activities, managing front office operations, overseeing facilities and administrative programs, and ensuring efficient execution of command support services. This role works closely with government personnel to maintain operational readiness, support command events, and deliver high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide front office support by assisting visitors, responding to inquiries, and supporting daily command operations.
• Coordinate meetings, conference room schedules, event logistics, and meeting documentation.
• Maintain operational records, calendars, reports, and SharePoint content.
• Manage administrative programs, including transportation, vehicle passes, command inspections, and facilities support.
• Oversee centralized mailroom operations, including mail distribution, package processing, and classified material handling in accordance with established procedures.
• Administer the National Transportation Incentive Program (TIP), including application processing, employee support, and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate property management activities, including inventory tracking and asset disposal support.
• Support command space planning, command events, and other operational initiatives as assigned.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and program metrics while ensuring compliance with Department of the Navy correspondence standards.
• Operate Government-Owned Vehicles (GOVs) as required to support contract performance.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of operations experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government operations.
• Experience with SharePoint, records management, or administrative programs.

Physical Requirements:
