About the Role

MiniMed is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to drive business growth and support for Diabetes products and services. This role focuses on promoting, selling, and supporting our offerings within the territory and reports to the assigned District Manager.

This is a field-based position that will support our Charlotte, NC Territory. This will include: Charlotte, Rock Hill, Elkin, NC and surrounding areas. The expectation is to be in the field 5 days/week.

  • Promote, sell, and service MiniMed products to physicians, patients, and referral sources through sales calls and educational activities.
  • Implement quarterly sales and market development plans to achieve targets, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Territory Managers, Diabetes Clinical Educators, and cross-functional teams to educate stakeholders on intensive diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Provide product and therapy technical support to patients, including consultation at staff in-services, physician seminars, and community organizations (ADA, AADE, JDRF, patient support groups).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and non-clinical buyers to establish a strong business base.
  • Manage territory expenses, inventory, and product returns, and coordinate daily customer support activities as assigned.
  • Capture healthcare professional engagements via Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete administrative reporting, utilize approved sales collateral, and conduct market research on customers and competitors.
  • Communicate customer feedback and product needs to internal stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Marketing).

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years prior sales experience

Nice to Have

  • Field sales experience highly preferred.
  • Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Prior inside sales or field clinical experience with MiniMed.
  • Previous sales award recipient due to strong sales performance (i.e. President's Club, Rookie of the Year).
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem-solving skills.

Field Roles: Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application. Must be able to drive approximately 100% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$90,000 - $90,000

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertain solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
