The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for driving day-too-day activities of branch lobby functions and initiatives. The Branch Operations Manager will function in the capacity of a mid-line management liaison between the Branch President and lobby staff enduring operation efficiency. This role will manage New Accounts and Teller functions providing leadership and support ensuring compliance with banking regulations while supporting growth and profitability. The following duties are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties required in this position. This job description is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. This role may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional duties as requested.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties, Skills, Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the branch lobby functions, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor branch lobby staff, through training, performance reviews and constructive feedback.
  • Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring their banking needs are met with a high level of satisfaction ensuring strong relationships driving customer loyalty and retention.
  • Act as paying/receiving teller and Personal Banker as needed driving Retail Banking initiatives including assisting customers in opening and managing bank accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and Debit Card issuance
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services to existing customers.
  • Address and resolve any operational or customer service issues and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by Management to support departmental functions.
  • Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity.

QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • High-level professionalism and interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy as giving and obtaining information may require discussion of a sensitive or personal nature.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in retail banking and branch management.
  • Proven track record in supervisory or managerial roles within the banking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
