Bluff Creek Marina is looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Marina Assistant to join our team at Possum Kingdom Lake.


If you love working with people, can keep things organized, and like a job where every day is a little different, this could be a great fit.


This is a hands-on position that combines retail operations, rental boat reservations, social media and reputation management, customer service, and administrative support.


We’re looking for someone who can have fun at the lake while still getting the job done!


Ship Store Operations


  • Help oversee the daily operation of the Ship Store
  • Provide friendly, 5-star customer service
  • Manage inventory, ordering, stocking, and merchandising
  • Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and looking great
  • Handle POS transactions accurately
  • Monitor sales and recommend ideas to improve performance
  • Help maintain inventory accountability and reduce shrinkage


Rental Boat Reservations

You’ll help our customers get out on the water and make some great PK memories!


  • Manage rental boat reservations and customer inquiries
  • Help customers select and book rental boats
  • Maintain an accurate reservation calendar
  • Confirm upcoming reservations and communicate important information to customers
  • Follow up on rental inquiries and leads
  • Coordinate with the marina team to ensure boats are ready for scheduled rentals
  • Assist with rental check-in and check-out when needed
  • Look for opportunities to increase rental bookings and boat utilization
  • Provide an excellent customer experience from the first phone call through the end of their lake day


Social Media, Marketing & Reputation Management

  • Create and post engaging social media content
  • Take photos and videos around the marina
  • Promote events, rental boats, Ship Store merchandise, and lake activities
  • Maintain a consistent social media presence
  • Respond to social media messages and engage with customers online
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Monitor Google, Facebook, and other online reviews
  • Respond to reviews and customer feedback according to Company guidelines
  • Encourage happy customers to share their experiences online
  • Help identify and communicate customer concerns to management
  • Help build and protect Bluff Creek Marina’s 5-star reputation


Administrative Support


  • Assist with general marina office responsibilities
  • Handle customer communication and follow-up
  • Maintain records, reports, and documentation
  • Assist with basic accounting organization and reporting
  • Support marina management and other departments as needed
  • Help keep the operation organized and running smoothly
