Assurance Manager, Asset Management GroupWhat You'll Do

Ready to bring your audit expertise to some of the most dynamic clients in the financial services space?

As an Assurance Manager in our Asset Management Group, you'll lead audit engagements for clients across hedge funds, private funds, and digital assets, working closely with Partners and engagement teams to deliver high-quality, timely service. You'll take full ownership of your engagements, deepen your knowledge of a fast-evolving segment of financial services, and play an active role in developing the staff around you as our practice continues to grow.

Audit Engagement Leadership
  • Work closely with the engagement Partner, Senior, and Staff to understand and meet client expectations and deliverables
  • Lead audit engagements for financial industry clients, including Hedge Funds, Private Funds, and Digital Assets
  • Assume full responsibility for completing projects from planning through issuance
  • Understand engagement Partner expectations and monitor deadlines and deliverables throughout the engagement
  • Balance and effectively deliver on multiple projects under restrictive time constraints
Client Experience
  • Develop an understanding of each client's business and industry, routinely seeking information regarding client needs and concerns
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their staff to provide the highest level of client service
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, building trust and long-term relationships
Team Leadership
  • Mentor and coach Staff and Seniors, providing on-the-job training and timely feedback
  • Review workpapers and deliverables prepared by engagement staff to ensure technical accuracy and quality
  • Support staff scheduling and resource allocation across engagements
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment
Who You AreQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of progressive audit experience, including experience auditing Hedge Funds
  • CPA license required
  • Public accounting experience in Financial Services (Hedge Funds, Private Funds, and/or Digital Assets)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a national or Big 4 public accounting firm
  • Prior experience auditing Private Funds and/or Digital Assets clients
  • Experience mentoring and developing Staff-level professionals

Estimated Base Range: Comp Range: $80,000 - $150,000

*Base compensation offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
