Bonfe

South Saint Paul, MN โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 14 days ago

Job description

Weekend Operations Manager

Friday – Monday | Four 10-Hour Days | Full-Time | Salaried

Run the Business. Lead the Weekend. Build What's Next.

Most companies slow down on the weekends.

Bonfe doesn't.

We're looking for a decisive, customer-focused leader who thrives when others are looking for direction. As our Weekend Operations Manager, you'll be trusted to oversee company operations Friday through Monday, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service, our employees have the support they need, and our business is positioned for success heading into each new week.

This isn't a "manager on duty" position.

You'll have the authority to make operational decisions, solve problems in real time, coach employees, coordinate multiple departments, and keep the business moving without waiting for someone else to make the call.

If you're someone who enjoys ownership, accountability, and making an immediate impact, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all weekend operations across multiple departments
  • Serve as the primary operational decision-maker Friday through Monday
  • Resolve customer escalations quickly and professionally
  • Support Dispatch and Customer Service during peak demand
  • Balance technician capacity with customer demand
  • Coordinate communication between Dispatch, Call Center, Warehouse, Field Operations and the Manager On Call
  • Make sound business decisions when situations fall outside standard procedures
  • Identify operational trends and recommend long-term improvements
  • Ensure evening teams are set up for success
  • Prepare the organization for a seamless Monday morning transition
  • Participate in the Manager On Call rotation
  • Step into CSR/Dispatch responsibilities when business demands require it

What Success Looks Like

You're successful when:

  • Customers receive exceptional service regardless of the day of the week.
  • Employees know they have a confident leader making decisions.
  • Weekend operations run smoothly without constant escalation.
  • Monday starts organized instead of reactive.
  • Operational issues become improvement opportunities instead of recurring problems.
  • You build trust by making good decisions without needing permission for every situation.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous leadership or operations management experience
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Comfortable managing multiple departments simultaneously
  • Customer-first mindset
  • Experience in home services is a plus but not required
  • Working knowledge of dispatching or customer service operations is preferred

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Four-day work week (Friday–Monday)
  • Three consecutive days off every week
  • High level of autonomy and decision-making authority
  • Opportunity to shape how Bonfe operates on the weekends
  • Future leadership growth as the company continues to expand

This position is designed to grow. As Bonfe continues to scale, we expect this role to evolve into a larger leadership position with direct reports and increased operational responsibility.

About Bonfe

For more than 30 years, Bonfe has built its reputation by doing the right thing—for customers and employees alike.

Our core values are:

  • Play to Win
  • Build Relationships
  • Do the Right Thing
