Position: Finance Operations Intern
Department: Finance / Accounting
Employment Type: Internship

Role Overview

The Finance Operations Intern will support the finance team in managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and analysis. This role provides hands-on experience with financial processes, data analysis, and business operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with bank and account reconciliations
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Help prepare financial reports,spreadsheets and supporting documentation
  • Perform data analysis to support financial decision-making
  • Support the monthly close process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Help document and improve finance operational processes
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments on financial projects
  • Support the accounting team with special projects and research tasks


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
