Mgr Clinic Operations Mgmt - Inova Children's Cardiology Job Description

Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Manager of Clinical Operations to join the Children’s Cardiology team supporting our Maryland sites. This role is Full-time working Monday to Friday.

Manager of Clinical Operations Job Responsibilities

Demonstrates appropriate troubleshooting/problem resolution skills related to practice processes and workflows.

Collaborates with the Director of Outpatient Practices or other designated leader to successfully resolve issues within established deadlines.

Coordinates Provider office schedules. Monitors patient volumes, patient access, and level of patient service to ensure patient satisfaction.

Ensures regulatory compliance with federal and/or state authorities as well as all other external governing authorities.

Partners with related departments such as Physician Billing, Patient Financial Services, and Medical Records to identify opportunities for financial improvement.

Oversees Outpatient Practice in conjunction with the Director of Outpatient Practices or other designated leader to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but is not limited to, hiring and training team members, creating and implementing business strategies, managing the performance of team members, and delegating tasks.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
  • Experience: 1 year of healthcare leadership experience OR completion of a 12-month healthcare administrative fellowship program AND 2 years of experience in healthcare operations in an ambulatory or hospital setting
