Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced Operations Management Analyst to support a Government Client by providing analytical, operational, and program management support for mission-critical initiatives. The successful candidate will analyze operational data, evaluate business processes, develop reports and presentations, and provide recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze operational processes and organizational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct research and analysis of technical and operational data to support executive decision-making.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, flowcharts, executive briefings, and presentation materials.
  • Monitor operational metrics and prepare recurring and ad hoc analytical reports.
  • Evaluate business processes and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect, validate, and analyze operational data.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and tracking tools supporting organizational initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of policy documents, white papers, and management reports.
  • Support meetings, working groups, and special projects by preparing documentation and tracking action items.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple branches and divisions to accomplish organizational objectives.
  • Perform additional analytical and operational support duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project, program management, or related professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years conducting analytical and support activities related to operations management or a similar functional area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analyze technical and operational data.
  • Ability to interpret management policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal Government operations or mission support programs.
  • Experience developing executive reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Experience with business process improvement and operational analysis.
  • Experience tracking project milestones, action items, and performance metrics.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
