Job description

Equipment Management Associate

The Equipment Management Associate will assist the Equipment Manager with the day-to-day equipment operations of Racing Louisville FC. This position works closely with players, coaches, and soccer operations staff to ensure training sessions, home matches, locker rooms, apparel, and equipment are properly prepared and maintained.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Schedule

This is a part-time, hourly position working approximately 20–30 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Schedule may vary based on team training and match schedules.

Availability to work Racing Louisville FC home matches, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Essential Duties
  • Assist with daily training setup, breakdown, and equipment needs.
  • Launder, organize, and distribute team apparel and training gear.
  • Maintain organized and well-stocked locker rooms and equipment areas.
  • Track and maintain inventory of equipment, apparel, and supplies.
  • Receive, organize, and distribute equipment and apparel shipments.
  • Assist with equipment and locker room operations for all home matches.
  • Pack and prepare equipment for away matches and team travel.
  • Support non-traveling players and staff when the team is away.
  • Assist with other equipment and soccer operations needs as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current college student or recent graduate preferred, but not required.
  • Interest in soccer, sports operations, or equipment management preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with players, coaches, and staff.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, and Racing Louisville FC home matches as scheduled.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully complete applicable background screening(s) and SafeSport certification requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk significant distances, including up and down stairs, as required throughout the venue, as well as stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks.
  • Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e., heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).
