We are looking for a leader who takes ownership, solves problems, develops people, and is willing to lead from the front. This is not a desk-only position. The Operations Manager should be comfortable visiting job sites, communicating with customers, reviewing documentation, managing crews, and stepping into the field when needed.

  • Competitive salary
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity
  • Company vehicle
  • Health benefits
  • Paid time off
  • Paid training and industry certifications
  • Leadership growth opportunities
  • Direct access to ownership
  • Opportunity for advancement as the company grows
Responsibilities
  • Lead, schedule, coach, and develop field technicians
  • Oversee daily water restoration, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, and related service operations
  • Manage projects from initial inspection through completion
  • Conduct job-site inspections and quality-control checks
  • Ensure work meets company, IICRC, and safety standards
  • Assist field crews when additional leadership or support is needed
  • Communicate with homeowners, property managers, commercial customers, adjusters, and vendors
  • Ensure accurate job documentation, including photos, moisture readings, drying logs, equipment placement, and project notes
  • Train technicians on restoration procedures, cleaning techniques, equipment, safety, documentation, and customer service
  • Assist with estimating, job costing, project planning, and production management
  • Monitor job profitability, labor utilization, equipment usage, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage company vehicles, equipment, warehouse inventory, and supplies
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing technicians
  • Participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation for emergency restoration work
  • Work directly with ownership to achieve operational, revenue, and profitability goals
Qualifications
  • Experience in restoration, cleaning, construction, home services, or field operations
  • Previous experience leading technicians, crews, or projects preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time-management abilities
  • Strong customer-service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, safety, and job quality
  • Willingness to assist in the field when necessary
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable using CRM, scheduling, estimating, and project-management technology
Preferred Experience & Certifications

Experience or certifications in the following areas are a plus:

  • IICRC WRT
  • IICRC AMRT
  • Xactimate
  • Water mitigation and structural drying
  • Mold remediation

Don’t have every certification listed? We still want to hear from you. We are willing to invest in additional training and certifications for the right candidate.

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

The right person will enjoy leading people, solving problems, taking ownership, serving customers, and helping build a growing company.
