WHO YOU ARE

  • You are pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028

  • You have a minimum GPA of 3.0

  • You are curious about financial markets and interested in learning more about the financial services industry

  • You have proven analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving, critical and strategic thinking skills through coursework and/or previous internship experience

  • You have demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and extracurricular involvement

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an intern at Northern Trust, you will have the opportunity to build relevant skills, work on meaningful projects, and participate in a collaborative program designed to support your early career development. You will work directly with your team on day-to-day tasks while joining internship program events to develop new skills, network with senior leaders, and connect with fellow interns in the program. Through hands-on experience, meaningful project work, and exposure to a dynamic global business, you will begin to see how your interests can grow into a long-term career at Northern Trust. A recruiter will work with you to determine the best team placement given your interests, skill set, and relevant experience.

THE PROGRAM:

  • Ten weeks

  • Located in Tempe, AZ

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN:

  • Enterprise Chief Operations Office (ECOO) Analyst in one of a variety of areas, including Accounting & Fund Administration, Market Operations, Integrated Portfolio Services, and more

Salary Range:

Salary is $30.00 USD per hour.

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
