Job description

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Centralized Operations team. The entry-level Operations Analyst provides technical and function support to account uses. You will interact with accounting and other operations teams and development groups internally, as well as externally with clients and service providers.


What you'll do:

  • Ability to work a consistent scheduled from 12:00PM to 8:00PM.
  • You will assist with security master setups and asset data maintenance resolving daily exceptions that arise; assist in automated trade file processes; perform pricing functions for securities across portfolio positions; support with implementing new clients; research and process corporate actions and dividend income for IMS clients.
  • As the record keeper for trade and security master activity, you will be responsible for collecting and maintaining security master details in various formats from the vendors. Additionally, you will manage the documentation of processes and procedures relating to individual client needs.
  • You will communicate with appropriate internal teams or client teams to resolve open issues and questions, reaching out to internal technology support and vendor support when necessary to resolve any production issues or system support queries. Additionally, you will be responsible in participating in the testing of new releases /system enhancements.

What we need from you:

  • BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Internship experience preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • The self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.
  • Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your clients and other service providers.
