Operations Implementation Manager information

What does an operations implementation manager do?

An Operations Implementation Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of new processes, systems, or projects within an organization’s operations. They coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently. Their goal is to optimize operational workflows and support business objectives by ensuring successful execution of strategic initiatives. This role often requires strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an operations implementation manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Operations Implementation Manager, you need expertise in project management, process optimization, and a background in business operations or a related field, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with workflow automation tools, ERP systems, and certifications like PMP or Lean Six Sigma are commonly required. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are essential soft skills for driving change and managing cross-functional teams. These skills and qualifications are crucial for successfully executing operational strategies and ensuring seamless business transformation.

Building relationships and gaining buy-in early on can help overcome these hurdles and promote smooth adoption of new procedures.

Job description

This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN visa, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp.
This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our Fort Mill, SC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

Allconnect is growing our Affiliate Dealers channel-partners who sell broadband and related services through their own call centers and agent teams. Today, many of these partners operate on our current platform and over time, we'll migrate the channel onto our next-generation platform. We're hiring a Product Manager to focus specifically on the needs of this channel. You'll work closely with internal Affiliate Dealers stakeholders (leadership, account management, ops) and partner teams (executives, call center managers, agents) to define, prioritize, and deliver product improvements that drive contract value, expansion into new partner categories, retention, performance, and ease of integration.
What You'll Do:
Build products that drive partner growth and contract value
  • Partner with Affiliate Dealers leadership and partner executives to understand what matters at the C-suite level (contract drivers, differentiation, scale, economics).
  • Translate partner needs into clear problem statements, success metrics, and prioritized roadmaps.
  • Deliver features that increase partner conversion, profitability, and long-term value.

Expand into new categories of Affiliate Dealers
  • Identify product requirements for new types of partners beyond today's base (e.g., beyond digital marketing companies).
  • Define the capabilities needed for onboarding, workflows, compliance, reporting, and scale for new categories.
  • Ship the product primitives that make entering new segments repeatable.

Drive retention through must-have capabilities
  • Build partner "stickiness" through differentiated features-tools partners can't easily find elsewhere and don't want to lose.
  • Improve reliability, transparency, reporting, and operational control to strengthen trust and satisfaction.
  • Continuously measure retention signals and prioritize work that reduces churn risk.
Improve performance for call center managers and agents
  • Create tools for call center managers to coach, monitor, and improve performance (quality, outcomes, throughput).
  • Build agent-facing experiences that increase productivity and conversion-user delighters, workflow accelerators, and fewer friction points.
  • Partner with operations and training teams to ensure changes actually improve day-to-day performance.
Make Red Ventures easier to work with
  • Build integration-friendly capabilities: embeddable experiences (e.g., iframe), APIs, or lightweight partner integrations.
  • Improve partner onboarding and implementation experiences-reduce time-to-value and support load.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to validate workflows in their environment, not just ours.

Execute well and communicate clearly
  • Lead discovery (calls, shadowing, feedback loops), define requirements, write user stories, and support delivery through launch.
  • Run stakeholder updates, demos, and enablement materials for internal teams and partners.
  • Use data + qualitative input to evaluate impact and iterate.

What We're Looking For:
  • 2-5 years of experience in product management, product operations, implementation, solutions, consulting, or a similar role delivering software outcomes
  • Comfort working directly with customers/partners: discovery conversations, demos, feedback synthesis, and follow-through
  • Strong ability to break down ambiguous problems, prioritize tradeoffs, and ship iteratively.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, design, analytics, ops, and go-to-market teams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication-able to align internal stakeholders and partner audiences.
  • Bonus: experience in call center workflows, partner platforms, integrations (APIs/iframe/SSO), telecom/broadband, or marketplaces.

Compensation:
Total Cash Compensation Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.
  • Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Life Insurance
  • Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Holiday Pay
  • 401(k) with match
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential. That's why we offer a generous and flexible PTO policy. Full-time employees accrue 20 days of PTO for a full calendar year annually, with an increase to 25 days after five years of service.
